Rainbow Bridge

Happenings at the  RainbowBridge
Ferrets impatiently hiding along the sides of the Rainbow Bridge. The air is charged with excitement. As Mr. Snowman starts to cross over they all tingle with anticipation. A few chortles and the soft fluttering sounds of tails gently wagging against the bridge are heard. Mr. Snowman is intrigued by the sounds not knowing what awaits him. Mr. Snowman stops, eyes wide, and listens - but now all is silent. As Mr. Snowman crosses over to the other side there is an explosion of furry bodies, including Isis and Ossi, all dancing, jumping, rolling, and playing, drawing Mr.Snowman into their inner circle. The love and joyfulness in their little hearts envelops Mr.Snowman. Soon all settles down and the "oldsters" explain the waiting
process to Mr. Snowman. Mr. Snowman is ever so gently groomed by the others to ease the pain of loss of living companions. Mr. Snowman is
consumed by their love. They are all one big loving family anxiously awaiting the next newcomer and in the end, their own humans.

Warm gentle hugs. tle

Mr. Snowman

He was only with us a short time. But he gave love and got love. He died of cancer. Within 3 weeks he was gone. We miss him and his fuzzy butt. We adopted him from MKARESQ in Warren. They loved him too.

Ossi

What a joy! Ben got him as a baby in Texas. Ossi made the journey from there to MI. He loved the snow and he loved to ride the bus. ( a plastic wagon mom like to pull him in.) We had some wonderful times with Ossi. He had an accident. You can never ferret proof enough. We love you big boy..

ISIS

Our little Isis. Ben's first baby. She was such a wonderful girl. She was so brave. She went from TX to MI and to TX and back again. She held on until we were married and home before she gave in to the cancer. She will always be in our hearts. Rest peacefully my sweetie.

RUSTY

Rusty came to us along with five of his friends.   He was of course the king of his castle, as you can see by the picture.  He had heart problems but that didn't stop him from sharing his love.  He left for the bridge while laying in his dads arms.

Our Casper

You would never know she had a hard life before she came to us. She spent the first few years of her life in a small aquarium. From there she went to house with big feet. She was stepped on. Through all of this she kept her loving attitude. She was the sweetest little girl ever. We love you Casper

Trooper

The man that gave us Trooper decided he wanted a dog instead. His loss our gain. Trooper you were wonderful. We were blessed when you came to our house.

MURRAY

Murray was a real daddies boy.  He was a foster from MKARESQ but he quickly became part of our hearts.  After he got here we discovered that Murray was deaf.  We figured that played a big part in why he seemed so mean with other ferrets, he just couldn't hear their cries.  After some determined work done by mom he joined the group and became a protector of everyone.   Murray had adrenal surgery and came thru that just fine but just wasn't able to come all the way back.  He went to sleep one night and just didn't wake up.  You are so missed.

We love all of our babies and they will always have a place in our hearts
